Ted's Made by Hand is proud to be one of the featured cigars at the 134th Kentucky Derby®, held annually on the first Saturday in May at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky. Look for the Ted's banners scattered throughout the main entrance and paddock area.

Ted's Made by Hand is proud to be a co-sponsor of the 2008 Nashville on the Rocks, held this year at Nashville's Country Music Hall of Fame. Tickets are $45 in advance and $55 the day of the show. A sampling of over 100 spirits and cocktails, delicious food, and admission to the Museum are included with admission.

A portion of the funds generated by the event will benefit The DISTRICT, Inc., a non-profit corporation dedicated to the economic and community revitalization of three historic districts in Nashville collectively known as the District.

"...[I] wanted to let you know I smoked it this morning on my 1 hr commute to work. I found it very nice! It had a creamy leather & cocoa base flavor, medium bodied and a short pleasant finish. The construction was good - the draw was perfect.

I don't usually smoke many Conny wrapped cigars. Often for me they are dry or grassy. However, your cigar did not display any of those tastes that I don't prefer. I think the cigar is perfect for a morning or perhaps an early afternoon smoke. As well, I think a new cigar smoker would like it and not be overwhelmed."

John Rider from Cigar Live Cigar Forum writes, "I threw out a few thoughts about the Ted's Made by Hand on the Cigar Live Podcast #10. I thought it was a very pleasant mild smoke. I can think of one or two friends who would probably really appreciate this cigar. It is creamy and smooth, and it has a definite aire of quality to it - what I described as being sophisticated and refined. For a milder smoke, it didn't seem to get boring like some creamy cigars can be. All in all, I thought it was a very nice blend. This is something I would be confident to hand to a "sometimes" cigar smoking friend or to a group of folks where I was trying to please a broad range of experience and tastes. I would be curious to know if that is what they had in mind with this cigar."
